About Me:
Call me nomad. Nice to make your acquaintance. About me (who is I?)….my life consists of being playful, enjoying life, and trying to be the best human being I can possibly be, so as to be a better reflection of Spirit to any person I encounter on the path. This is it. Play is play; work is also seen as play. I don't have obligations - I prefer to call them teachers and teachings.
Everything arising is the teacher. Even the bad stuff, as painful as it might be.
I am truly grateful. My life has been wonderful in every possible way, having more than enough of anything I've ever needed. I've met some truly wonderful people, and have been lucky enough to encounter some deeply spiritual, authentic souls right here where I live (with one exception, sad to say…). A deep bow to these people- alll of them, exception included, for being teachers.
I don't play games. Well, maybe board games, but not mind games. I'm more apt to walk away without hesitation (but many times left with lots of unanswered questions). I prefer to be around authentic folks dedicated to making this world a better place, and would rather not deal with emotional blackmail, neediness or dysfunction. I've had enough of that in the last two years to last me several lifetimes.
Life's too short to be hateful or negative.
If the choice is between being around negativity and being peaceful with no one around, I choose the latter. Hence my nature as a nomad. I gravitate toward one-on-one interaction and sometimes groups, but enjoy solitude and anonymity equally as much. Once things get weird, I try my best to help that person. If this fails, I walk away.
For the more mundane things…I am a former intel Marine, a college graduate, a Reiki practitioner, an artist, a writer, a dancer, a polyglot, and generally a big softie, being guided more by my heart than by my brain. I love deeply, like sharing hugs, and bend over backwards to help people and to make them happy. I am a mother, daughter, sister, feminine in general, and I love stuffed animals, fuzzy lamb-chops and chimpanzees in particular. I'm a big kid and an old soul, at the same time I'm just the average adult female.
I am human, and prone to error.
Who Is I? I still don't know, to be honest. There's no way to pinpoint exactly Who I Is. Does it really matter?

Rio Abajo Rio: The river beneath the river.
We are the river, and the river is the source.
There is no separation.
There are always two voices sounding in our ears: the voice of fear and the voice of confidence. One is the clamor of the senses, the other is the whispering of the higher self.
—Charles B. Newcomb
When you see the Earth from space, you don't see any divisions of nation-states there. This may be the symbol of the new mythology to come; this is the country we will celebrate, and these are the people we are one with.
–Joseph Campbell
We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.
–T.S. Eliot
There is one art of which man should be master, the art of reflection.
–Samuel Taylor Coleridge
When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us.
–Alexander Graham Bell
The language of friendship is not words but meanings.
–Henry David Thoreau
The fact that astronomies change while the stars abide is a true analogy of every realm of human life and thought, religion not least of all. No existent theology can be a final formulation of spiritual truth.
–Harry Emerson Fosdick
Those who profess to favor freedom and yet deprecate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing the ground.
–Frederick Douglass
Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding.
–Kahlil Gibran
The fountain of content must spring up in the mind; and he who has so little knowledge of human nature as to seek happiness by changing anything but his own disposition, will waste his life in fruitless efforts, and multiply the griefs which he proposes to remove.
–Samuel Johnson
